im in illinois and southwest is doing a background check. what can they ask my former employer. i resigned my position cause they wanted to terminate me for attendance(i had a bad staph infection and missed some days which i had sick days to cover). the interviewer asked me if it was true about me resigning but my employer might say something else cause im going to work for a competitor.
what questions can they ask and what cant they ask.
