  1. Felony convictions will appear during a background check in any state. Even if they don’t do a check, they will probably ask you on the application. If they find out later you left the information out, you may be fired.

  2. Most jobs will ask you if you have been convicted of a crime on your application. If they later found out you lied, that is usually grounds for firing you. Just so you know.

  3. Every company will require a background check except for factory workers and construction or health fields. In other words, the business field would be tough to get into.

  4. If there is not a background check it should not be a problem. But most job applications ask “Have you ever been arrested and/or convicted of a crime in this or any other state?”
    The application also states that lying on the application is grounds for termination.

    You could get the job, work there for years and then someone could discover that you lied about your arrest and you could be terminated.

  5. You are now in a FEDERAL database . it will follow you everywhere
